FFXIV is still a FF rpg and still published by Square-Enix, it's fine :) Ditto for other mobile games/mmos/srpgs/etc by Japanese publishers, if they're still rpgs. But Undertale is a Western game production, so it's a no go, sorry though.
RPGMaker games I would have to rule on in a case by case basis, I think, but unless you have a specific one in mind I'm going to leave that question aside. The handmade (for lack of a better word) game that was asked about earlier is a Japanese one. Did you have one in mind?
