I've still got nothing done for this challenge :/ I have some more concrete ideas now though.

I've been looking at art books and doing some color tests - my efforts so far are honestly looking really bad, but I've done much better work in this medium before, so hopefully if I put enough reps in to get back in practice, something cool will emerge. I've got a few rainy days coming up, so as long as I have to stay indoors I may as well get some grinding in, heh.

...It's also possible I need to go buy some more materials - the red I've got is way more purple than I was counting on, and the orange is sort of pink? The wonders of physical media.

10,650 words in, but my outline still has 6 sections to go and I'm full of deep doubts about a lot of my narrative choices.

That said, I have my fandom narrowed down and I have my subjects, so all I need now is a functional weekend or two and I'm off to the races ~

I'm at just over 10K but the final fic is probably going to be 30K+ if I actually finish it in time. Which I hope to finish the entire first draft in the next week or so, but we'll see (other writing things are starting to creep up...)

I think I'm gonna have to drop out of this challenge tbh, I'm really not feeling it, I'm signed up for way too much already and I had unexpected other things in my life.
