I actually just started working on my fic for this challenge today. I needed to finish a replay first but I feel solid going forward, hopefully.

I'm juggling a couple different potential subjects and we'll see which outline wins, lol ~

So far, a post-FE Awakening scenario, a deepdive into long-before Awakening FE Awakening scenario, a more nebulous Genealogy of the Holy War thing, and some FFIV elaboration are in the lead, but I have SaGa ideas also percolating ...

This should be a thing, whatever one winds up written *lol*

I have drawn several lamentable sketches that still served to flesh out what could be some cool ideas, as well as writing a very rough 2.5K of potentially connectable scenes for an FFT piece.

I've also done very little apart from thinking up ideas. I've been unexpectedly busy :/

After spending some time looking through WIPs and debating what to work on, I think I need to be a little more realistic and see what ideas I have that are ~5k, not 5k+ (and probably closer to 20k) because I know my luck.

I have a couple things in mind, at least, both Fire Emblem. Hopefully I'll have something more concrete for the next check-in. ^^;;

I have about 2.5k at this point, which is somewhat disjointed but ought to be serviceable.

Something I'm finding an interesting challenge for this project is switching between description and events. The sections I'm including tend to start off with a couple of paragraphs of the POV character reflecting on his situation, followed by a Scene, but managing the transition between those two quite different styles is something I think could be done with a bit more finesse than I've managed so far.
